Text: Dt. 25:1-10
Title: “Loving Concerns – Pt 1”
Theme: We must approach the Law as Jesus approached the law.  What is the spirit behind the law?  Have circumstances changed since the law was given?  These are strange laws but they were much needed in the 15th century BC to care for those who would otherwise have found themselves without provision or protection.  Today to follow these laws according to the letter of the law would be to violate the Spirit of the law.  We need to see the reason why God graciously provides these laws and obey the Spirit of the law rather than the letter.
