Life Groups

Life Groups meet throughout the week to help folks grow as disciples of Jesus through studying God’s Word, praying for one another, and interacting with other followers of Jesus.
Sunday School | 9:50-10:40 am
• “Strong Foundations” is a group that discusses the basics of the Christian faith. It is led by Michael Nikkila and meets in room 222.
• Young Adults (post-high-school through early-30s) meet with Chris and Lorrie Miller in room 210.
• Clifford Kelley leads an adult class studying a quarterly curriculum in the Fireside Room.
• Janice Plummer leads an adult topical discussion in Room 201.
Mixed Life Groups
• “Sermon Rehash” meets the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month at 5:15 pm in the Fireside Room. Recent sermons are reviewed, and discussions apply to the current day and our faith journey.
• Freedom Seekers meet Sundays at 7:00pm or Wednesdays at 6:30pm (choose one) for a 6 week “Right Now Media” Video study to learn how to better apply God’s word to our lives. There is a two week break after each topic is completed before the next study is begun. Check the church office for current topic and date information.

Celebrate Recovery is a community supported ministry that meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m.at the HFMC. to serve people who are seeking freedom from addiction, hurt and destructive patterns. The evening begins with all gathering in the sanctuary for worship, recovery teachings and testimonies, Then, they separate into men’s and women’s small groups. The evening concludes with snacks and fellowship time. Biblically based childcare is provided. The 1st evening of each month starts at 5:30 with a meal.
